We, hereby certify that the roof framing has wood trusses are spaced at 24" in O.C. and they are several truss with partial deterioration. Each truss is anchored to the concrete tie beam with metal straps with 3 nails 10d on one side, nails are clinched and the straps does not wrap over the roof trusses. For this roof frame the number of nails per strap does not comply with the minimum requirements to withstand the uplift load. The inspection revealed that additional straps are required to comply with the minimum requirements. The above is not accordance as specified in the FBC 2014 edition Section 708.8 for Existing Building. This report is based on limited visual review of existing structural components.
