1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:03 PM.
2. ROLL/CALL
Attendees: Michael O’Hara, Bonnie O’Meara, Brian Kronberg, Ed Quinton, Kathryn
Mason, Harrison Bergman
Also present: Village Clerk Ysabely Rodriguez
Absent: David Coviello
3. APPROVAL OF THE DECEMBER 8, 2021 MEETING MINUTES
Ed Quinton proposed the following amendments to the above-noted meeting minutes:
- Item 4B (third bullet point) – remove e.g. items in parenthesis. Michael O’Hara
moved to approve the December 8, 2021 meeting minutes as amended and Brian
Kronberg seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
4. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION
A. Overview of best practices and recommendations report.
There was a comprehensive discussion regarding page-by-page edits of the draft report.
The committee members conducted a poll (by a show of hands) to determine whether the
examples in the election related bullet point should be removed.
- Committee voted to add footnote (4 in favor – Ms. O’Meara, Mr. Kronberg, Ms.
Mason, Mr. Bergman; 2 voted against – Mr. Quinton and Mr. O’Hara)
Mr. Bergman motioned to approve recommendations report and Ms. Mason seconded
the motion, which carried a 6-0 voice vote.
5. NEXT COURSE OF ACTION – Edited document will be released to Ad Hoc
Charter Advisory Committee members for final comment. If any substantive edits
are requested, committee will meet one final time.
