The building official has found work regulated by this code being performed in a manner contrary to the provisions of this code that are dangerous or unsafe. Chapter: 1 Section 105.1 of: 2014 Florida Building Code To wit: [A] 105.1 Required. Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, { alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to'erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any impact-resistant coverings, electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system,the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building official ' and obtain the required permit. i P E i y Y i f 4 REQUIREMENTS FOR CORRECTION. I 1. Obtain permits as required as required under Florida Building Code section 105.1 to demolish and or remove all components installed without permits and without passing the required inspections. ➢ [A] 110.1 General.Construction or work for which a permit is required shall be subject to inspection by the building official and such construction or work shall remain accessible and exposed for inspection purposes until approved. 3. Obtain permits for the renovation as required under Florida Building Code, section 105.1 4. Pay required permit fees. Therefore, you are hereby directed that on or before Monday, January 16, 2016 you are to correct said VIOLATION and NOTIFY THE UNDERSIGNED BUILDING INSPECTOR that the VIOLATION has been corrected. Failure to make the correction(s) will result in one or more of the following actions: Disconnect utilities services, initiation of an unsafe structures case requiring demolition of the structure. Also,failure to comply with this notice may result in the department withholding issuance of other permits to you, referral of this matter to the t appropriate licensing board or the filing of a lien against your property in the amount of any i unpaid ticketing fines. In accordance with the provisions of Section 8-17 of the Code of Miami- Dade County, you are also responsible for the reasonable costs and expenses incurred by the Building Official in enforcing the provisions of the Building Code. In the event further clarification or assistance is required, please contact Ismael Naranjo, B.O at (305) 795-2204 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 PM. Except in the case of life-safety hazards, you may be granted upon request an extension of time up to 90 days to correct the violation provided your request is submitted prior to the expiration of this Notice of Violation and enforcement costs incurred by the department to date are paid in full.
