Dear Building Official,
We have inspected the roof framing and roof framing anchors at the above referenced property as required by
adopted by the Florida Building Commission by Rule 9B-3.047 F.A.C. We, hereby certify that the roof framing
has 2"X8" wood trusses are spaced at 16" in O.C. and they are in good condition.
Each truss is anchored to the concrete tie beam with metal straps that warps over the wood joist with one 1/4" by
1'/z" lag screw on each side of the strap. For this roof frame the number of nails per strap complies with the
requirements to resist the uplift load.
The above is in accordance as specified in the FBC 2014 edition Section 708.8 for Existing Building.
This report is based on limited visual review of existing structural components. Please do not hesitate to contact
