Minutes of the Fine Arts Commission held on December 8, 2015.

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m.
Mr. Stock made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 10, 2015
meeting. Motion seconded by Ms. Goodman and unanimously approved.
Mr. Estep reported that the Commission has a balance of $7606 in the FY 2016
budget.
Samples of the Gallery Night brochures/invitations were distributed to
Commission members for corrections/revisions. Revisions were also made for
the Egret ad. Mr. Stock made a motion to approve $25 to secure a Barry
University photographer for Gallery Night. Motion seconded by Mr. Kodsi
and unanimously approved.
Discussion turned to the campfire concert. Mr. Estep said that the location for
the concert will be on the north side of the athletic fields near the pump house.
Suggestions for food trucks include Pizza Fuega, The Lone Wolfe, Jefe’s, Ms.
Cheezious and Anam.
It was noted that those attending the Art Basel tour were thrilled. Ms. Ackley did
not feel the art guides were professional, having a sales pitch at the end of the
tour. Ms. Rojas suggested that in the future a shuttle could drop people off at
various areas/galleries; this could be an alternate service to provide for Art Basel.
