A RESOLUTION APPROVING POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
APPLYING TO THE OPERATION OF THE MIAMI SHORES
RECREATION DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS AND FACILITIES
PURSUANT TO SECTION 15-5 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE, AND SUPERSEDING RESOLU-
TION NO. 558.
BE IT RESOLVED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE:
Section 1. The following provisions shall govern the
public use of the recreation facilities and playground areas
of Miami Shores Village, with the exception of the Country Club
facility:
(a) Said facilities and playground areas shall be
under the direct supervision of the Miami Shores
Village Recreation Director, or, in his absence,
his designated alternate.
(b) Administration of said facilities shall be
further governed by a Comprehensive Plan for
the Administration of Programs and Facilities
as approved by the Village Council.
(c) All persons using or otherwise entering upon
said premises shall be suitably attired.
(d) Use or possession of alcoholic beverages on
recreation premises is prohibited except by
written permission from the Village Manager
or his authorized representative.
(e) Any person acting in a disruptive or disorderly
manner in violation of any rule or regulation
may be ordered to leave said premises by the said
Recreation Director or his authorized representa-
tive, and shall be barred from further use of
said premises for an appropriate period of time.
In the event of repeated violations of the provisions
of this resolution or other resolutions governing
the use of said premises, a person may be barred
permanently from the use of said facilities.
(f) Any person barred from the use of the recreation
facilities under the provisions of this resolution
shall have the right of appeal to the Miami Shores
Village Manager, which appeal must be in writing
and submitted to the Village Manager within thirty
days from the date of the issuance of the order
barring the appellant from the use of the afore-
mentioned recreation facilities.

(g) Play on recreation department fields shall be
prohibited prior to 12:00 a.m. on Sundays.
Section 2. This resolution supersedes Resolution
No. 558.
