A RESOLUTION CONCERNING INTENT TO
INCREASE THE TAX MILLAGE OF MIAMI
SHORES VILLAGE FOR THE YEAR 1973.
WHEREAS, the proposed budget submitted to the Village Council
requires an increase in the millage rate to be imposed on all non-exempt
property in Miami Shores Village in excess of the millage certified to
said Council by the Dade County Tax Assessor and that for the purpose of
hearing comments regarding the proposed increase a public meeting will be
held at a time and place specified in the notice hereinafter set. forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a notice in the
following form be published as required by F. S. 200. 061, Sec. 13:
NOTICE OF AD VALOREM TAX LEVY
Notice is hereby given that on the 24th day of September,
1973, at 8:00 p. m. , at the Community Center in the city
of Miami Shores Village in the County of Dade, the Miami
Shores Village Council intends to levy upon the assess-
ment roll of the year 1973 taxes for the fiscal year
beginning on the first day of October, 1973, at the rate
of $7. 90 per $1, 000 valuation. Certification has been
made by the Assessor of the County of Dade that a tax
rate of $5. 50 per $1, 000 valuation will yield the same
amount of tax revenue as that levied during the current
year. The following financial summary is provided for
information of all persons concerned:
