R-430-63 RESOLUTION NO. 430 WHEREAS, application has been made to the Village Council to close and abandon certain streets in Miami Shores Village, herein- after more particularly described; and WHEREAS, it appears that such portions of the streets so designated are not presently being used by the public and are not necessary for public use; and WHEREAS, it appears that the application should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: That the following described road, street or right-of-way lying and being in Miami Shores Village is hereby vacated, abandoned, discontinued and closed and all rights of Miami Shores Village and the public in and to the same are hereby removed and disclaimed, said property being described as follows: A portion of Northeast 89th Street (Orchard Drive) lying between Blocks 21 and 22, and lying East of the Easterly right-of-way line of the Florida East Coast Railway, as shown on the Plat of E1 Portal Section 4, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 12, at page 56, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the intersection of the North line of said Block 22, and the Easterly right-of-way line of the Florida East Coast Railway; thence run East along the North line of said Block 22 for a distance of 126. 27 feet to a point of curvature; thence run Southeasterly along the arc of a circular curve to the right, having for its elements a radius of 25 feet and a central angle of 114 degrees, 58 minutes, 04 seconds, for a distance of 50. 16 feet to a point of tangency with the Easterly line of said Block 22; thence run Northeasterly along the Easterly line of 'said Block 22 extended Northeasterly for a distance of 116. 44 feet, to a point on the South line of said Block 21; thence run West along the South line of said Block 21 for a distance of 165. 49 feet to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of the Florida East Coast Railway; thence run Southwesterly along the Easterly right-of-way line of the Florida East Coast Railway for a distance of 77. 22 feet to the Point of Beginning. Less that part or portion thereof lying westerly of a line which is 60 feet easterly of and parallel to the Easterly right-of-way line of the Florida East Coast Railway right-of-way.
