R-406-60 MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE RESOLUTION NO. 406 A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE DADE COUNTY COMMISSION DENY A PETITION TO RE- ZONE LOTS 1 TO 6 INCLUSIVE, BLOCK 35, PINEWOOD PARK, 1st ADDITION. WHEREAS, the Dade County Commission is being petitioned to rezone for business Lots 1 to 6 inclusive, Block 35, Pinewood Park, 1st Addition, (585 N. W. 95th Street) owned by the Church of the Brethern, and WHEREAS, said property is located east of the right of way of the north-south expressway, and WHEREAS, all of the property (except one building at N. W. 5th Ave. and 103rd St. ) lying between the east line of said expressway and the west limits of Miami Shores Village is presently zoned for residential use, a large majority being for single family only, and WHEREAS, since all property in Miami Shores Village, except Barry College and the Biscayne Kennel Club, lying west of N. E. Znd Avenue is zoned for single family use, it appears to be.good planning to have these areas remain zoned for residential use. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Miami Shores Village Council does and hereby recommends that the County Commission deny this petition. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th day of June, 1960.
