A RESOLUTION APPROVING GOLF AND COUNTRY
CLUB OPERATION REGULATIONS ESTABLISHED
BY THE VILLAGE MANAGER PURSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 226 AND RESOLU-
TION NO. 363 OF THE COUNCIL.
BE IT RESOLVED:
That the following rules and regulations established by the Village
Manager under the provisions of Ordinance No. 226 and Resolution No. 363 be
approved:
1. A member or a citizen owning an identification card may have
a guest play golf by notifying the Pro shop by letter or by
telephone. The $7. 50 fee may be paid by the guest or it may
be charged to the member if he so directs. The foregoing
applied Monday through Friday only. Guests will not be per-
mitted on Saturday and Sunday unless accompanied by the member
or citizen. When a member plays with a guest, the guest fee
is $5. 00.
2. A citizen who is renting living accommodations in Miami Shores
may become a member at the rate of $300. 00 per year. (This
applies to a single person or a family including minor children).
Such a person must present evidence of his tenancy such as his
copy of his lease, etc. and if his lease is for less than a year
from the date of his joining, the membership shall expire at
the time of the lease without benefit of pro-ration of the fee.
3. A citizen who is renting living accommodations in Miami Shores
may secure an identification card at the service charge fee and
may play golf at the Village fee.
4. A Village freeholder may assign in writing his or her member-
ship privilege to any adult Village citizen member of his or
her immediate family on a year to year basis.
5. A Village freeholder family membership includes: the spouse,
all minor children and children attending college at the expense
of the citizen, or in military service.
6. The Village freeholder rate is $200. 00 per year for golf and
swimming. No further fees are required with annual member-
ships. The rate for single adults is $175. 00 per year.
7.
A person, or a corporation, owning real property or conducting
a business in Miami Shores Village, shall be entitled to one
membership or identification card at the Village freeholder
family rate, provided the nominee of the corporation shall be
a citizen of Dade County, Florida.
8. A minor son or daughter (over 14) of a Village citizen who is
not a member, may become a junior member at a fee of $25. 00
per year, usable at such times as the Membership Association
may determine as to all minors.

9. A citizen holding an identification card may play golf after
3:00 P. M. for one half the current rate.
10. Barry College students may play golf after 3:00 P. M. for
one half the current rate for freeholders. The College may
use the course for team matches with other college teams
at no charge providing satisfactory starting times can be
arranged under the direction of the Membership Association.
11.. The present non-residents paying annual pool fees may transfer
to a full membership. Those now paying a full membership
may not transfer to a pool membership.
12. - Present non-resident members paying pool fees may use
their membership cards to play golf at the Village citizen
daily rate.
