MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 202 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: SECTION: 1. That the Village Attorney be, and he is, hereby authorized and directed to institute and dili- gently prosecute appropriate legal proceedings for the condemnation by Miami Shores Village of the fee simple estates and all private rights and titles in and to the following lands, to belaequired and used as and for a public park or other Public purposes, to-wit: Lots Nine (9)y ten (10), eleven (11)s thirteen (13) and fourteen (14), (ex- cepting that part of said lets forming a part of Biscayne Boulevard or Federal Highway No. 1). of Asbury Park, a sub- division, according to the Plat of the said subdivision, recorded in Plat B®ek 4, at page 1100 Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and according to said Boulevard or Highway as now in use according to the official map of the Village (and accord- ing to the public records relating to the establishment of said highway), and the said attorney procure the necessary abstracts or abstracting of titles for preparation of such proceed- ings, at the cost of the Village; and that said Attorney rearrange and clarify the description of said lands in said proceedings as he ,finds to be proper. WE, the undersigned duly appointed qualified and acting election officials of Miami Shores Village,, appointed so to act by the laws and ordinances of said Village at the regular election to fill three vacancies on the- Council of said Village, do hereby certify, that as such election officials, we did hold said regular election at the Village Office, 9533 Northeast Second Avenue, Miami Shores Village, to fill three vacancies on the Council thereof, and that the following named persons were duly elected as members of Miami Shores Village Council, and received the number of votes set opposite their respective names: F. Lindsey - 23 We further certify that said election was held in accordance with all the laws and ordinances of the Village concerning the holding thereof; that each and every provision of the law concerning the same was fully complied with and abided by, and that said persons named above were regularly and duly elected members of the Council of Miami Shores Village. TO THE CLERK OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: WE, the undersigned registered, qualified, electors of Miami Shores Village, within the meaning and intent of the Charter, laws and ordinances of said Village governing elections held therein, and being ten per cent (10%) or more of the registered, qualified electors of said Village, do hereby petition and request that F. SCOTT KITSON be placed upon the official ballot of said Village as a duly qualified and nominated candidate for election to Miami Shores Village Council in the regular election called by said Village to be held on June 21, 1937, within said Village, and that after the receipt and filing of this petition, you certify that the same is in accordance with the laws and ordinances governing elections within the Village, and that the said F. Scott Kitson is a duly qualified and nominated candidate for election to said Village Council in accordance with the charter and laws of said Village, and place the name of the said F.
