R-04-35 (2) RESOLUTION OUTLINING THE POLICY ADOPTED BY MIAMI SNORES VILLAGE COUNCIL, CONCERNING THE DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE AS A RESULT OF THE FIRST VILLAGE FORECLOSURE. WHEREAS, Miami Shores Village has. acquired certain property as the result of the foreclosure of the 1932-333 tax certificates owned by the Village, and WHEREAS, the Village has been importuned to dispose of and sell said property under various plans, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has exhaustively studied and surveyed the situation from all angles, and _ WHEREAS, it has become necessary to adopt a definite policy . by which all officers and employees of said Village shall be governed with reference to said property as aforesaid, NOW THEREFORE, BE- IT RESOLVED by the Council of Miami Shores Village that the property acquired by said Village in said foreclosure as aforesaid, be retained and held by said Village or disposed of in accordance with the following. SECTION 1. The right, title or interest owned by the Village in all contiguous property shall be retained by said Village until further action by the Council. SECTION 2. The title to property which is isolated or is not contiguous to other parcels of lands owned by said Village shall be held and retained by said Village until acceptable and suitable offers for the purchase of the same are received and as to such property the Village will entertain offers for sale of the same whenever such are presented and will act upon each individual application in accordance with the circumstances and conditions surrounding the same. SECTION 3. No general sale, public or private, by auction or otherwise shall be made of any property, the title to which is owned by the Village as the result of the foreclosure as aforesaid. SECTION 4. The foregoing constitutes and is the definite policy of the Village with reference to said property as aforesaid.
