O-688-11 ORDINANCE NO. 688-11 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 270, SECTION 301, "ZONING MAP OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE" BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 160 N.E. 99TH STREET, MIAMI SHORES, FROM RESIDENTIAL(R-18.5)TO PARKING (XX), REPEALING ANY AND ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Miami Shores Village has received an application to re-zone property located at 160 N.E. 99th Street, which is currently zoned R-18.5,the legal description of which is as follows: Lot 6 and the east% of lot 7, block 17, of"an amended plat of Miami Shores Section 1", according to the plat book 10 at page 70 of the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida; and, WHEREAS,the proposed re-zoning to Parking (XX) is consistent with the Village's adopted Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Map, for the property, designated therein for parking use; and, WHEREAS, the Village Planning Board heard testimony during a duly noticed public hearing on Thursday, March 24, 2011, and recommended approval of the submitted application for re-zoning; and, WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Village to re-zone the subject property; NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THAT: Section 1. Section 301 (Zoning Map) of the Miami Shores Village Zoning Appendix, Ordinance 270, is hereby amended to reflect that Lot 6 and the east% of lot 7, block 17 of"an amended plat of Miami Shores Section 1" according to the plat book 10 at page 70 of the Miami-Dade County, presently zoned Residential (R-18.5), is zoned Parking (XX). Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith or inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed, but only insofar as such ordinances may be inconsistent or in conflict with this Ordinance. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon passage by the Village Council on second reading. PASSED on first reading this 5th day of April , 2011.
