O-585-96 ORDINANCENO. 585-96 AN ORDINANCE OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE,FLORIDA VACATING THE ALLEY LYING BETWEEN LOT 6 AND LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 16, PLAT OF MIAMI SHORES COMPANY SECTION NO. 1,PLAT BOOK 10,PAGE 3 6, PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Vy'HEREAS, on or about the 9th day of February, 1925,the Miami Shores Company recorded its Plat of Miami Shores Company Section No. 1, dedicating thereby an alley right-of- way located between Lot 6 and Lots 1 and 2 of Block 16 of said plat, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and WHEREAS, said alley is seldom, if ever,used by the public as a public way; and, WHEREAS, all lots fronting on said alley have suitable, alternative access which constitutes the primary access to such lots; and, WHEREAS, it has determined to be in the best interests of the Village of Miami Shores, Florida,that the said alley be closed and the public right-of-way vacated; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. The alley lying between Lot 6 and Lots I and 2 of Block 16 of the Plat of Miami Shores Company Section No. 1, recorded in Plat Book 10, at Page 3 6, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, depicted on the attached sketch, is hereby vacated. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, FIRST READING, TFIIS 21st DAY OF May 1996. PASSED, SECOND READING, THIS 4th DAY OF June 31996.
