O-559-93 ORDINANCE NO. 559-93 AN ORDINANCE OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE, FLORIDA, AMENDING MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 270, BY ADDING TO SECTION 300 THEREOF THE DESIGNATION OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT (CF) AND CHANGING P DESIGNATION FROM PUBLIC DISTRICT TO PARK DISTRICT AND AMENDING SCHEDULE OF REGULATIONS TO REFLECT SAME; DELETING CHURCHES, SCHOOLS AND PUBLIC UTILITY INSTALLATIONS AS PERMITTED USES IN R DISTRICT; AMENDING SECTION 301 THEREOF BY ADOPTION OF REVISED ZONING MAP PREPARED BY RKS, INCORPORATED, DATED JANUARY 1992, WHICH ADDS CF ZONES, ENLARGES P DISTRICT JOINING GOLF COURSE BY REDUCING R-20 DISTRICT, CHANGING R- 17 .5 DISTRICT AT EAST END OF GRAND CONCOURSE TO P DISTRICT, CHANGING A PORTION OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF NORTHEAST 92ND STREET FROM A-1 TO B-1 DISTRICT AND CHANGING FROM R-15 DISTRICT TO PRO AND P DISTRICTS THAT PORTION OF LAND ABUTTING EAST SIDE OF NORTHEAST 6TH AVENUE BETWEEN 94TH AND 95TH STREET; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE, FLORIDA: SECTION 1 . Sub-Section (c) of Section 300 of Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 270, reads as follows: Nonresidential districts of the following classes: PRO Planned residential - office district B-1 Local Business B-2 Transient business C Limited commercial S-1 Special use - college S-2 Special use - dog track P Public use x Supplementary parking xx Parking lots only SECTION 2 . Sub-section 300 (c) of Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 270, shall stand amended to read as follows: Nonresidential districts of the following classes: PRO Planned residential - office district B-1 Local business B-2 Transient business C Limited commercial CF Community facilities district S-1 Special use - college S-2 Special use - dog track P Park district x Supplementary parking XX Parking lots only SECTION 3. Paragraphs numbered 2, 3 and 9 setting forth Permitted Uses of the SCHEDULE OF REGULATIONS, being a part of Section 400 of Miami Shores Village ordinance No. 270 reads as follows : 2 . Churches, other places of worship, Sunday school buildings and uses directly related thereto. No church shall hereafter be constructed upon any site that does not contain a minimum of 2 1/4 acres of land area, including street dedications, and having a minimum contiguous frontage of at least 150 feet abutting on a public street right-of-way. Off-street parking facilities shall be provided and maintained within the land area of every church site so that there shall be at least one parking space for each four seats so provided in the church. 3. Public schools . 9 . Any of the following uses, subject in each case to approval by the Village Council, as provided in Article VI : (a) Private schools conforming to the same plot size standards as prescribed for public schools by the state board of education. (b) Public utility installations necessary for service to the Village or to the neighborhood within which located. SECTION 4 . Paragraphs No. 2, 3 and 9 of the list of Permitted Uses in R districts, as set forth in the SCHEDULE OF REGULATIONS of Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 270 shall stand amended to read as follows: 2 . Section 301 of Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 270 reads as follows : The aforesaid districts are hereby established as the designations, locations and boundaries thereof are set forth and indicated on a map entitled "Zoning Map, Miami Shores Village, " which map, properly identified, is hereby adopted as a part of this ordinance, insofar as it indicates said designations, locations and boundaries. SECTION 6 . The "Zoning Map, Miami Shores Village" adopted by Section 301 of Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 270, as set forth above, shall stand amended to reflect the zoning changes proposed on the attached map made a part hereof by reference thereto. SECTION 7 . This Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption. APPROVED on the first reading hereof this 4th day of May -, 1993. PASSED and ADOPTED on second reading this 18th day of May 1993.
