O-530-90 ORDINANCE NO. 530.90 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2-61, ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES , MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE, FLORIDA; ELIMINATING REQUIREMENT OF TWO APPRAISALS UPON WHICH TO BASE THE SALE OR LEASE OF REAL PROPERTYj PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: SECTION 1. Section 2-61 of the Code of Ordinances of Miami Shores Village, Florida, with reference to the requirement of two appraisals for the sale or lease of village-owned real property, reads as follows : The council shall not sell or lease any real property belonging to the village except under the following conditions : (1) Any real property offered to be leased or purchased from the village shall, before any sale or lease is effected, be ordered by council to be appraised by at least two (2) appraisers approved by the council; (2) Such appraisers shall name a sum considered by them to be an equitable rental or sale price for the real property offered to be bought or leased; (3) The council shall under no circumstances lease or sell such real property at an amount less than that named as equitable by the appraisers employed by the village to make such appraisal, except by a majority vote of the freeholders of the village following an election, the expense of which shall be borne by the prospective purchasers or lessees . SECTION 2. That Section 2-61 of the Code of Ordinances of Miami Shores Village, Florida, shall stand amended to read as follows : Section 2-61. Reserved SECTION 3 .
