O-497-86 ORDINANCE NO. 497-86 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 504 OF ARTICLE V OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. 270; ENLARGING SIZE OF REAL ESTATE SIGNS PERMITTED IN B-1 and B-2 DISTRICTS; INCREASING NUMBER OF REAL ESTATE SIGNS PERMITTED IN B-2 DISTRICTS; PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: Section 1. Sub-section 504 (f) of Article V of the Miami Shores Village Zoning Ordinance No. 270, authorizing inci- dental signs authorized to be displayed in B-1 or C Districts, shall be amended to include paragraph numbered 4 which shall read as follows: (4) In a B-1 or B-2 District real estate signs adver- tising the availability of the land, improved or unimproved, where said signs are erected for the purpose of sale, leasing or rental. No sign shall exceed three square feet in area for each legal address, provided, nevertheless, that in B-2 Districts there shall be permitted an additional sign, not in excess of 32 square feet in area, with a limitation of one such larger sign on land with one or more legal addresses, but which land is contiguous and shares a common ownership. Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective upon adoption. APPROVED on first reading this 18th day of November 1986. APPROVED AND ADOPTED on second reading this 2nd day of December 1986.
