O-466-84 ORDINANCE NO. 466-84 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (a) , SECTION 14-43 OF CHAPTER 14, MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES, IN REGARD TO STORAGE OF INOPERABLE MOTOR VEHICLES. BE IT ORDAINED BY, MIAMI* SHORES VILLAGE: Section 1. That Paragraph (a) , Section 14-43 of Chapter 14, Miami Shores Village Code of Ordinances, reads as follows with reference to storage of inoperable motor vehicles : "(a) No person, firm or corporation owning, leasing, renting or occupying land in the Village shall permit, maintain, park or store thereon for any purpose any motor vehicle not in provable 'operating condition, unless said motor vehicle is maintained, parked or stored within a total enclosure. A motor vehicle shal 1 be presumed i noperati ve when a val i d and unexpi red inspection certificate is not attached as required by state law, or when said vehicle upon visual inspection by the Village Manager or his lawful designate or repre- sentative, appears patently unfit for safe operation on the public roads; provided, however, that this section -shall not apply to house trailers, to antique vehicles licensed as such by .the State of Florida, or to storage or motor vehicles by persons or businesses licensed for such purpose by the Village." Section 2.. That Paragraph (a) , Section 14-4.3 of Chapter 14, Miami Shores Village Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows with reference to storage of inoperable motor vehicles : (a) No person, firm or corporation owning, leasing, renting or occupyi'ng land in the Village shall permit, maintain, park or store thereon for any purpose any motor vehicle not in provable operating condition, unless said motor vehicle is maintained, parked or stored within a total' enclosure. A* motor vehicle shall be *presumed inoperative when a valid and unexpired license tag is not attached as required by state law, or when said vehicle upon visual inspf-ction by the Village Manager or his lawful designate or representative, appears patently unfit for safe operation on the public roads; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to house trailers, to antique vehic*les licensed as such by the State of Florida, or to storage of motor vehicles by persons or businesses licensed for such purpose by the Village."
