O-456-83 ORDINANCE NO . 456-83 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 111 , SECTION 15-61 , CODE OF ORDINANCES , MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE , FLORIDA: PROVIDING FOR REMOVAL OF COUNTRY CLUB ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS . BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE : Section 1 . Article 111 , Section 15-61 , Code of Ordinances , Miami Shores Village , reads as follows : Sec. 15-61 . Created ; composition ; appointment of members . There is hereby created a country club advisory board consisting of five (5) persons , who shall be members of the country club. Members of the advisory board shall be appointed by the council and shall serve for two (2) years , except that the first appointments under this section shall be three (3) members for two (2) years and two (2)members for one (1 ) year. Members may be reappointed . As far as possible all major segments of the membership shall be represented on the board . Section 2 . Article III , Section 15-61 , Code of Ordinances , Miami Shores Village , is hereby amended as follows : Sec. 15-61 . Created ; composition ; appointment of members , and provision for removal of members . There is hereby created a country club advisory board consisting of five (5) persons , who shall be members of the country club. Members of the advisory board shall be appointed by the council and shall serve for two (2) years , except that the first appointments under this section shall be three (3) members for two (2) years and two (2) members for one ( 1 ) year . Members may be reappointed . As far as possible all major segments of the membership shall be represented on the board . Each member shall hold office until his successor has been duly appointed , except when removed by the Village Council , and any member may be removed by a majority vote of the Village Council . Section 3 . This ordinance shall become effective on the date of adoption . PASSED on first reading this 20th day of September , 1983 .
