ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE
PLANNING BOARD AS THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY
PURSUANT TO REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 75-257 OF
LAWS OF FLORIDA; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. In addition to the other organizational and
procedural matters prescribed by the Village Manager, the Village
Planning Board is designated as a local planning agency for
purposes of preparing comprehensive plans and plan elements
for Miami Shores Village, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 75-257
of the Laws of Florida (Local Government Comprehensive Planning
Act of 1975) as may be amended from time to time. The Planning
Board shall work in close coordination with the Village Manager
in the exercise of this responsibility.
Section 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause
or provision of this ordinance is held invalid, the remainder
of this ordinance shall not be affected by such invalidity.
Section 3. It is the intention of the Council of Miami
Shores Village, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions
of this ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code
of Miami Shores Village, Florida. The sections of this ordinance
may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish such intention,
and the word "ordinance" may be changed to "section" , "article" ,
or other appropriate word.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective ten (10)
days after the date of its enactment.
