O-364-72 ORDINANCE, NO. 364
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PLACING
OF CONCRETE OR OTHER HARD MATERIAL
BLOCKS IN THE PARKWAYS OF MIAMI SHORES
VILLAGE AND SUPERSEDING ORDINANCE
NO. 362.
BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE:
Section 1: From and after the passage of this ordinance
it shall be unlawful to install in the public parkways in
Miami Shores Village any pointed concrete or other
material which stands in the form of a pyramid.
Section 2: From and after the passage of this
ordinance it shall be unlawful to install in the public
parkways in Miami Shores Village closer than 18 inches
from the nearest edge of the paved surface of the
designated roadway any rounded or other object
designed to restrict parking thereon, except within
fifteen feet of an intersection where the distance will
be limited to six inches. This exception is allowed
to prevent vehicles from cutting the corner and
destroying the parkway.
Section 3. This ordinance shall supersede Ordinance No.
362 and take effect immediately upon its passage.
