O-286-58 ORDINANCE NO. 286 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING PERSONS PROPOSING TO OPERATE ANY PLACE SERVING FOOD OR DRINK TO FIRST OBTAIN A PERMIT FROM THE DADE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH UNIT BEFORE A VILLAGE PERMIT IS ISSUED. BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: Section 1. No person shall be given a permit by Miami Shores Village to operate a hotel, club, boarding house, motor court or similar establishment, or any place where food, drink or other sus- tenance for human consumption is produced, manufactured or sold, unless a permit therefor shall have first been obtained from the Dade County Public Health Unit. Section 2. Such permit shall be kept conspicuously posted in the place of business to which it applies. Section 3. If the permittee shall fail to comply with all laws and regulations governing the production, manufacture, handling and sale of articles intended for human consumption, and in effect in Dade County, Florida, in Miami Shores Village, said permit may, upon notice, be revoked and the authority of the permittee to conduct said business shall thereupon be terminated. Section 4. Violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $500. 00, or imprisonment not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
