O-282-57 ORDINANCE NO. 282 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRUCK TRAFFIC ON STREETS IN MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: Section 1. From and after the passage of this ordinance it shall be unlawful to operate any motor vehicle having a rated load capacity exceeding two (Z) tons and carry state license plates GK and GL or CV on any of the roads, streets or alleys in the limits of Miami Shores Village, except upon N. E. 2nd Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard and N. E. 115th Street or N. E. 6th Avenue; provided, however, that vehicles in excess of such capacity may be operated on the streets of said Village for the purpose of receiving or delivering to a specific place or places therein, materials or merchandise, but in such case the vehicles so making such delivery, or receiving such articles, shall proceed along N. E. Znd Avenue, Biscayne Boulevard, N. E. 115th Street or N. E. 6th Avenue, whichever may be clos,est to the destination, only entering such other streets at the intersection nearest the destination of the vehicle, and proceeding thereon no farther than the nearest intersection thereafter. Section 2. Violation of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $25. 00 or imprisonment in the Village jail not exceeding five days, or both, in the discretion of the court. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage. Section 4. That Ordinance No. 269 is hereby repealed.
