AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE SWITCHING, LOAD-
ING AND UNLOADING OF FREIGHT OR PASSENGER
RAILWAY CARS WITKN THX LIMITS OF MIAMI SHORES
VILLAGE BETWEEN CERTAIN SOURS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TRE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE:
Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance,
it shall be unlawful for any railway company operating in or through Miami
Shores Village to switch or cause to be switched any railroad cars, freight
or otherwise, to any siding or spur track within the corporate limits of said
Village between the hours of 9:00 o'clock p.m. and. 7:00 o'clock a.m.
Section 2. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance,
it shall be unlawful for any railway company operating in or through Miami
Shores Village to cause the loailing or unloading of any railroad cars, freight
or otherwise, within the corporate limits of said Village between the hours
of 6:30 o'clock p.m. and 7:30 o'clock a.m.
Section3. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance,
it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to load or unload any
railroad car, freight or otherwise, within the corporate limits of said Village
between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m.
Section 4. Violation of this ordinance shall be punishable by a
fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) and-each violation of this
ordinance shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 5. If any word, phrase, sentence, section or part of
this ordinance is declared unconstitutional, the remainder shall continue
in full force and effect.
Section 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 7. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
