AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FoR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING AUGUST 1., 1950 AND
FIXING THE 1950 TAX LEVY Of MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLA
Section 1. That the following be., and the same is hereby
adopted as the final budget of Miami Shores Village for the fiscal period from
August 1, 1950 to July 31, 1951:
Section 2. That the assessments against all real and personal
property within Miami Shores Village as appear on the tentative tax roll of
the Village.. and as submitted to the Council by the Village Manager and Tax
Assessor for final adoption be.. and the same is hereby adopted an the final tax
assessment roll of Miami Shores Village for the fiscal period from August 1,,
1950 to July 31s. 1951.
Section 3. That the valuation of the real property within the
Village at its fair cash market value for the fiscal year from August l.. 1950 to
July 319 1951p less homestead exemptions allowed is $ 15,667,981.
Section 4. That the valuation of the personal property within
the Village at its fair cash market value for the fiscal year from August 10 1950
to July 31., 1951,9 less e3mVtions allowed., in $ 1.,681j,589.
Section 5. That the millage for the fiscal year from August l..
1950 to July 31., 1951� is hereby fixed at .0105., to be used exclusively for oper-
ation purposes. Debt service on the Golf Course Bonds is to be paid from earn-
ings and debt service on the City Hall Bonds is to be paid from the Cigarette Tax
Revenue.
Section 6. That all omissions and irregularities relating to
the acts of the Council of Miami Shores Village concerning the adoption of the
budget and assessment roll shall in no wise affect or impair the validity thereof.
Section 7. Each word, phrase,, sentence or section of this
ordinance shall be severable and the invalidity of any word, phrase, sentence
or section shall in no way or degree impair any other part or parts thereof.
Section 8. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 9. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and adoption,
