AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUILDING COEE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, TOGETHER WITH AMENDMENTS THERET09 BY DIRECT
REFERENCE AS THE OFFICIAL BUILDING COIS OF MIAMI
SHORES VILLAGE AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HE REW ITH.
WHEREAS., The Committee of Dade County Building Officials have
reviewed the Building Code Ordinance of the City of Miami No. 1551+ and
recommended certain changes and amendments thereto and.,
WHEREAS,, The City of Miami has made these changes and amendments
by adoption of Ordinance No. 3703., dated February /+th, 191+9, and.,
WEEWM., Miami Shores Village is desirous of joining with the other
municipalities in adopting a unified building code.,
NOW., THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES
VILLAGEt
Section 1. That the Building Code of the City of Miami., Ordinance
#1554 and all amendments thereto up to and including Ordinance No. 3703..
dated February /+th, 19/+9,, is hereby adopted by direct reference as the official
building code of Miami Shores Village.
Section 2. Should any section., paragraph, sentence., phrase., clause.,
or other part or provision of this ordinance be declared by the court to be
invalid.. the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole.,
or any part thereof., other than the part so declared to be invalid.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
