AN ORDINANCE CREATING ZONING CLASSIFICATION "X" FOR PUBLIC PARKING PURPOSES, AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. .92 ENTITLED: *AN ORDINANCE To REGULATE AND RESTRICT' THE ERECTION$ RECONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, LOCATING AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, LAND AND WATER, FOR TRADE., INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSE; ETC. " BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: Section 1. That the following described lots, located in Miami Shores Section 1. are hereby rezoned from "ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL" to "ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL'OR PUBLIC PARKING": Lot No. Block 8-7., 22-23 18 6-79 22-23 ig 23-24 20 8-9, l6-17 29 8-99 15-16 30 8-99 15-16 31 8-9, 15-18 32 and that the Village Zoning Map, an now attached to, and a part of, Ordinance No. 158, and bearing the signatures of the Mayor and Village Manager, shall be corrected under the supervision .of the Village Manager only insofar an is necessary to reflect the foregoing additional Zoning Classification. Section 2. That, In pursuance of the foregoing, Section Z-1, Article I of Ordinance No. 92 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following classification: Zone Classification PUBLIC PARKING *The Zone ' designation 'XI being an additional -usage elassification, . shall be used Jointly with the- One Family Residential Zone Classifi- cation applicable, as 'R-6V ". Section 3. That Section Z-6. Article III of said Ordinance Mo. 92 Is also -hereby amended by adding thereto the following: -2- "(6) Public Parking Lots. Provided that in the area in whi;E�said public parking lots are allowed the paved portion of such lots shall not extend closer than 10 feet to the nearest residential property, and the area between the end of the pavement and the residential property shall be suitably landscaped, and the entire parking area shall be surrounded with shrubbery of sufficient height and denalty to prevent lights on said parking area and on automobiles therein from anno�ing the neighbors."
