O-145-45 Tff SHORES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO._I�� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. 92 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 141, SAID ORDIN- ANCE NO. 92 BXING ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE ERECTION, RECONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS., STRUCTURES, LAND AND WATER, FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PUR- POSES,- TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE SIZE AND MGEIT, NUMBER OF STORIES, CUBICAL CONTENTS, CONSTRUCTION AM AREA OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES HEREAFTER ERECTED OR ALTERED, THE SIZE AIM DIMENSIONS OF'YARDS, COURTS AM OTHER OPEN SPACES SURROUNDING BUILDINGS; TO REGULATE, AND RESTRICT BUILDING LINES AND THE PER- CENTAGE OF LOT THAT MAY BE OCCUPIED, ADD THE DENSITY OF POPULATIONS AM FOR SAID PURPOSES, TO DIVIDE MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING HAP, INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER., SHAPE, AM AM AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST SUITED TO CARRY OUT THESE REGU.LkTIONS, AND FOR EACH SUCH DISTRICT TO IMPOSE REGULATIONS AND RESTIUCTIONS DESIGNATING THE KINDS OR CLASSES OF-TRADES, BUSINESSES, RESIDENCES OR OTHER PURPOSES FOR IHICH BUILDINGS OR OTHER STRUCTURES OR PREMISES WAY BE PER- IMITTED TO BE ERECTED, ALTERED, OR USED; TO PROVIDE METHOD FOR AMEM:MENT, SUPPLEMENT, CHANGE, MODIFICATION AIM REPEAL OF REGULATIONS, RESTRICTIONS AND BOUNDARIES; TO PROVIDE A METHOD OF ADNINISTRILTION; TO PROVIDE FOR THE ENFORCEMENT; TO PROVIDE FOR THEPRESERVATION OF RECORDED SUB-DIVISION RESTRICTIONS OF INCLUDED SUB- DIVISIONS;TO PRDVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF USES; RE- PEALING ALL L&WS IN CONFLICT; AND TO PRESCRIBE PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE," BY CHANGING LOTS NMERED 1 TO 53 INCLUSIVE, OF BLOCK 16, LOTS NUMBERED 10 TO 14, INCLUSIVE, of BLOCK 53, LOTS NUMBERED 1 TO 5, INCLUSIVE, OF BLOCK 21, AND LOTS NUM- BEPJ3D 13 TO 17, INCLUSIVE, OF'BLOCK 28, OF MIAMI SHORES, SECTION 1, ACCORDING TO THE AMENDED PLAT THEREOF, FROM ZONE B-1 to ZONE R-8. VMREAS, therealready exists a large business zone on Northeast Second Avenue in said Miami Shores Village, Florida, which zone is large enough to accommodate the present 'and future demand for the erection of business buildings; and BHEREAS, since the adoption of said ordinance No. 141 an election was duly held to fill the vacancies caused by the expiration of the terms of three of the members of said Miami Shores Village Council which adopted said Ordin- anee No* 141; and VMEREAS, one of the paramount issues in said election was. whether or not said zoning Ordinance No. 141 should be repealed; and VMREAS, the three candidates for said offices on said Village Council -who favored the repeal of said Ordinance Noe 141 were duly elected and the candidates for said offices who did not openly favor the repeal of said Ordin- ance No. 141 were defeated; and WHERMS, it is the opinio n of the Miami Shores Village Council that' it is for the best interests of said Village that this Ordinance be passed amend- ing Ordinance No. 92 as amended by Ordinance No. 141, thereby effeotiz�g a repeal of Section 2 .of said Ordinance No. 141, �NOW, THEMWORES BE IT ORDAIRED by Miami Shores Village-. Section 1. That Lots numbered l'to 5, inclusive, of Block 1-6, Lots numbpred ,10 to 14, inclusive, of Blook ,33, Lots numbered 1 to 5, inclusive, df Block 21, and Lots numbered 13-to 17, inclusive, of Block 28, Miami Shores, ' -Section 1 according to the amended Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 10 at age 70, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, be, and the same' are hereby changed from Zone B-1 to Zone R-8. Seotion' 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3.
