AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING J. LEROY STARK AS SUBSTITUTE
ELECTION JUDGE IN THE PLACE AND STEAD OF MAX A. BATH;
APPOINTING J. LINDSEY BLAIR AND Do EARL McDONALD AS
ADDITIONAL ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD JUNE 199 19452 IN MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE.
WHEREAS,, on May 8. 1945, under Miami Shores Village
Ordinance No. 139,, Max A. Bath was appointed as one of the elec-
tion judges for the regular election to be held in Miami Shores
Village on June 19, 1945,, and
WHEREAS, said Max A. Bath is incapacitated to serve by
reason of absence from the Village, and
WHEREAS2 it is necessary to appoint a successor in the
place and stead of Max A. Bath, and
WHEREAS., it has been determined that two additional
election judges will be required in order to comply with the voting
machine laws of the State of Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE9 BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE,
Section 1. That J. LeRoy Stark be and he is hereby ap-
pointed one of the election judges of the regular election to be
held in Miami Shores Vil lage June 19, 1945, in the place and stead
of Max A. Bathq with all the powers and duties of such election
judge the same as if the said J. LeRoy Stark was originally appointed
under Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 139.
Section 2. Council, having determined the qualifications
of J. Lindsey Blair and Do Earl McDonald as election judges of the
regular election to be held June 19, 1945, thesaid J. Lindsey
Blair and Do Earl McDonald are hereby appointed as additional elec-
tion judges of the regular election to be held in Miami Shores
Village on June 19, 1945, io elect three members of the Village
Council to succeed M. B. Arnold, To Go Earnest, and 0. E. Dooly.

Section 3. Each word, phrase, sentence or section of
this ordinance shall be severable and the invalidity of any word,
phrase, sentence or section shall in no way or degree impair any
other part or parts thereof.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be effective immediately
upon its passage.
Unanimously passed and adopted this 13th day of June,
1945,
