O-114-42 MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A FLORIDA LICENSE TO DRIVE A MOTOR VEHICLE UPON THE STREETS OF MIAMI SHORES2 REQUIRING POSSESSION OF SUCH LICENSE AT ALL TIMES AND EXHIBITION OF SAME ON DEMAND OF ANY POLICE OFFICER., PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE2 AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT. BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE: SECTION 1. That hereafter no person except those expressly exempt therefrom by Florida law., shall drive any motor vehicle upon any street in the Village of Miami Shores unless such person shall possess a valid Florida state license as an operator or chauffeur. Any person hold- ing a valid Florida chauffeur's license shal-I not be required to procure an operator's license. SECTION 2. That hereafter every such licensee shall have in his immediate possession at all times when operating a motor vehicle in the Village of Miami Shores a valid Florida state operator or chauffeur license, and shall display the same on demand of any police officer. SECTION 3. Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding $500, or by im- prisoment for a term not exceeding sixty days, or both such fine and imprison- ment, in the discretion of the municipal judge. SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict herewith, or inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance., are hereby repealed. SECTION Should any section, paragraph, sentence, phraAe'. clause, ' or other part or provision of this ordinance, be declared by the courts to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof., other than the part so declared to be invalid.
