O-87-39 i i MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. 87 ANORDINANCE REPEALING MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE RES0LUTION'NO. 237, AND ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF THOMAS J. ELLIS AS-A SER OF THE GOLF COURSE COMMITTEE AS PROVIDED"FOR IN MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. 64 AND NAMING A SUCCESSOR ON SAID GOLF COURSE COM91TTEE TO SAID THOMAS J. ELLIS. WHEREAS Thomas J. llis has E tendered his resignation as a member of the Golf Course Committee of Miami Shores Village having heretofore been appointed thereto by Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 64, and WHEREAS, said resignation was tendered on account of his . removal from Dade County to take up official duties in Tallahassee, and by his resignation a vacancy was thereby created on said Golf Course Committe, and - WHEREAS, the said Thomas J. Ellis served faithfully and well as a member of said Committee, and by such service did benefit the Village and citizens thereof, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint a successor to the said Thomas J. Ellis. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE SECTION 1. That the resignation of the said Thomas J. Ellis as a member of the Golf Course Committee of Miami Shores Village as constituted by lgiami Shores Village Ordinance No. 64, be, and the same is hereby accepted with thanks and appreciation and gratitude of the Council and the citizens of .the Village for his meritorius and beneficial services in connection with the same, and the said Council does extend to him it best wishes for his future success. SECTION 2. That W. Meade Stockdell, be, and he is hereby appointed as a- member of the Golf Course Committee of Miami Shores Village, as constituted by Miami Shores Village Ordinance No. 64, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the said Thomas.
