MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE ORDINANCE N0. 6«
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CONTIGUOUS LANDS AND INHABITANTS
THEREON BY INCLUDING THE. FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY
IN THE VILLAGE, VIZ: BEGIN AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
WATERSEDGE/A SUBDIVISION ACCORDING TO THE PLAT RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 90 AT PAGE 141 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE
COUNTY IN SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 53 SOUTH, RANGE 42 EAST;
THENCE RUN WEST ALONG THE NORTH LI'NE OF SAID SUBDIVISION
CALLED WATERSEDGE TO THE WEST LINE OF THE EAST DIXIE HIGH-
WAY WHICH WEST LINE OF SAID HIGHWAY IS TWENTY-FIVE FEET
MORE OR LESS WEST OF THE WEST LINE OF SAID SECTION 5;
THENCE RUN SOUTH ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID EAST DIXIE
HIGHWAY, AND TWENTY-FIVE FEET, MORE OR LESS, WEST OF THE
WEST LINE OF SAID SECTION 5, TO THE SOUTH LINE (PRODUCED
OR PROJECTED EASTERLY) OF BLOCK 3, OF GOLDEN GATE PARK
ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION ACCORDING TO THE PLAT RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 7, AT PAGE 54, OF SAID PUBLIC RECORDS;
THENCE WEST TO AND ALONG THE SAID SOUTH LINE OF BLOCK
3 OF SAID GOLDEN GATE PARK SUBDIVISION ACCORDING TO SAID
PLAT, TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 4 OF ASBURY PARK,
A SUBDIVISION ACCORDING TO THE PLAT RECORDED IN PLAT
BOOK 40 AT PAGE 110, OF SAID PUBLIC RECORDS, AND SAID
PROPERTY AND INHABITANTS LOCATED UPON SAID TERRITORY
WITHIN SAID AREA INCLUDED BY THE EXTENSION OF SAID
BOUNDARY LINES AS AFORESAID ARE HEREBY ANNEXED TO MIAMI
SHORES VILLAGE, AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXERCISE OF POWER
AND JURISDICTION OVER SAID PROPERTY AND SAID PERSONS,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST.
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to annex and make a part
of Miami Shores Village the property hereinafter described for the
protection of said Village and the citizens thereof, and
WHEREAS, by inclusion of said territory as hereinafter
described, all laws, parts of laws, ordinances, resolutions and
jurisdiction of the Village shall thereupon immediately become appli-
cable and binding upon said annexed territory and all persons residing
therein, and
WHEREAS, said territory described is contiguous to the
Village, and is not located in any other Municipal Corporation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE:
SECTION 1. That the following described property be, and
the same is hereby included in the Village: Begin at the Northeast
corner of Watersedge, a subdivision according to the Plat recorded.
in Plat Boo$ 9, at Page 141, of the Public Records of Dade County,
in Section 5, Township 53 South, Range 42 East; thence run West along
the North line of said subdivision called Watersedge to the West
line of the East Dixie Highway which West line of said Highway is
twenty-five (25) feet more or less west of the Vest line of said
Section 5; thence run South along the West line of said East Dixie
Highway, and twenty-five (25) feet, more or less, West of the West
line of said Section 59 to the South line (produced or projected
Easterly) of Block 3, of Golden Gate Park Addition, a subdivision
according to the Plat recorded in Plat Book 7, at Page 54, of said
Public Records; thence West to and along the- said South line of
Block 3 of said Golden Gate Park subdivision according to said Plat,
to the Northeast corner of Lot 4 of Asbury Park, a subdivision accord-
ing to the Plat recorded in Plat Book 4'. at Page 110, of said Public
Records, and said property and inhabitants located upon said terri-
tory within said area included by the extension of said boundary lines
as aforesaid are hereby annexed and incorporated in and to Miami
Shores Village, and by reason thereof are a part of Miami Shores
Village, for all purposes whatsoever.
SECTION 2. That in accordance with Miami Shores Village
Ordinance No. 520 entitled; "An Ordinance Adopting a Uniform Plan
for the Safe and Harmonious Development of Miami Shores Village,
Establishing Building Zones and Regulating the Nature and Construction
of Buildings with Reference thereto; and Declaring an Emergency to
Exist", the said annexed property shall upon the effective date hereof
be, and become a part of Building Zone F as provided for in said
Ordinance No. 52, and subject to the terms, conditions and provisions
thereof.
SECTION 3. That Miami Shores Village shall immediately upon
the passage of this ordinance assume jurisdiction over the described
property herein annexed as though the same had been originally in-
corporated in said Village.
SECTION 4. That all Ordinances, parts of Ordinances, Resolu-
tions, Laws and portions of Laws of said Miami Shores Village, and of
the State of Florida, pertaining to Municipal Corporations and the

SECTION 541That in accordance with Miami Shores Village
Ordinance No. 11, entitled: MAn Ordinance Zoning the Village as to,
