Minutes of the meeting of February 9, 1978, were approved as written
by motion made by Mr. Moyer, seconded by Mr. Dunaway and carried.
(1) A request was made by Publix Market, 9050 Biscayne Boulevard,
for permit to create a supplemental parking lot for employee parking along the east
Railroad right-of-way between 92nd and 93rd Streets. It was explained by Mr.
Murray Beaman, engineer for the project, that the proposal included the use of
30 ft. of railroad right-of-way and 7 ft. of Village right-of-way along Club
Drive.
It was decided that in order to create a parking lot in or
abutting an apartment zone and a residential zone, it would be necessary to
make a zoning change, which requires a public hearing.
With agreement of the Board, Chairman Toussaint set the public
hearing for the next regular meeting of March 9, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. and
instructed the Clerk to send out the required notices. Mr. Beaman was informed
the fee for a public hearing is $90.00.
The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
