07-10-1969 Regular Meeting• MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING July 10, 1969 A regular meeting of the Miami Shores Planning and Zoning Board was held at 7:30 P, M. , July 10, 1969, at the Village Hall, with the follow- ing members present: Mr. Thomas B. Baden Mr. Gordon H. Moyer, Jr. Mr. Irving E. Horsey Absent: Chairman Donald W. Hoefle Mr. Donald W. McIntosh Mr. William R. Bradford, Building and Zoning Director, was also In the absence of Mr. Hoefle, Mr. Horsey was asked to take the Minutes of the last meeting were approved as written by motion made by Mr. Moyer, seconded by Mr. Baden and passed. present. chair. (1) Mr. Chuck Wallace returned to the Planning Board for consideration of a new plan to construct two residences on Lots 1, 2, 3, Block 71, Miami Shores Subdivision, with a request to vacate the alley platted through this block. Mr. Wallace presented plans for a house to be built immediately on Lots 2 and 3 and requested approval of Lot 1 as a future building site. The Building Inspector reported that the square -foot area of Lot 1, with the addition of the alley, totals approximately 7587 sq. ft. Mr. Baden moved that the Board recommend to the Council that the alleyway between these lots be vacated and further that Lots 2 and 3 accommodate one building and that Lot 1 be approved as another building site, with future plans for building on Lot 1 to be submitted to the Board. Motion was seconded by Mr. Moyer and passed. The Board further stipulated that the finished floor elevation must be 16" above the crown of the road and that if a garage is not provided, off-street parking must be provided with proper landscaping.
