12-28-1973 Regular Meeting• PENSION BOARD MEETING A meeting of the Miami Shores Village Pension Board was held on Friday Morning, December 28th, 1973 at Uncle Johns Pancake House on Biscayne Boulvard. The following were present: Mayor James Condit John McIntyre John Fletcher Michael Franco Absent and out of town were: Harry Smenner Jim Glaid Dean Miller Ann Vigneron Tentative dates of a meeting with the Actuary (Wyatt Company representative) were discussed and several days at 4:00 PM were agreeable to the majority. A discussion was held on the possibility of increasing the maximum entry age from 45 to either 50 or 55. More information on costs, number of persons involved,what other local municipal plans have, etc. was desired so that it could be studied at some future meeting. Mr. Franco made the motion and Mr. Smenner seconded, that Charles M. Pinder be given his early retirement income as of January 1, 1974 of $456.85 monthly for life. The motion was passed.
