RETIREMENT & PENSION PLANS Relative to your inquiry pertaining to Mr. James Ryan, one of the Firemen of Miami Shores Village, who plans to retire on January 1, 1959. I find that Mr. Ryan will be 67 years of age at the time of his contemplated retirement. He was in service 7 full years and has, therefore, serviceable credit of 6 years. On this basis he will be entitled to an annuity of 9% of his average final compensation. The average final compensation based on the annual compen- sation he received for the last four consecutive years of service amounts to $3646..25 which will result in an annual pension of $3-28.16 or a monthly pension of $27. 35.
