Barbara,
When the Historic Preservation Board next meets, I would like these discussion topics added to th agenda:
The Gordon Cottage;
Historical Marker, "Our First Road";
Where is the oldest house still standing in what is now Miami Shores?;
Monthly Village Hall lobby historical display;
Updating the document entitled, "Answers to Some Questions About Historic Designation in
Miami Shores";
What is the, "Florida Master Site File"? Is it related to the "National Register of Historical
Places"?; and,
How about a MSHPB workshop on an historical issue or topic?
I am also interested in the idea of assigning topics to a Board members, (one topic for each member),
assuming he or she will want to work on it. These topics can be researched individually, and then reported on, at
the following meeting.

Barbara,
On Tuesday, Oct. 21st, I retumed a call to the Dade Heritage Trust. They wanted to know if we were going to participate
again in their Dade Heritage Days Historical Walk Program scheduled for the spring of next year. I gave them a tentative ,"Yes."
This item should be added to the HPB agenda, when we meet on Monday, Nov. 3rd. Thanks.
Blessings,
Bill
