The Board unanimously agreed to donate $200.00 to the Village and to recommend to the Village Council that another co -designation sign be erected at the intersection of N.E. 6th Ave. and 96th Street, i.e., "SHORELAND BOULEVARD." 5. WORDING FOR BRASS PLAQUES Much discussion was had on whether historic landmark brass plaques should contain historical information and whether the words "home," "residence," or "house" should be used. The Board agreed that, as a matter of policy, the plaques should contain historic information about the original owner of the house where available. In addition, Ms. Temkin advised the Board that since designation applies to a structure, the words "home" or "residence" were inappropriate for inclusion in the plaque according to National Register criteria, but that the word "house" was acceptable. The Board therefore agreed to follow this rule in the future. Accordingly, the Board agreed that the following plaques, to be ordered by Mr. Bittner, should contain the following historical information: 145 N.E. 94th Street - 339 N.E. 96th Street - 940 N.E. 95th Street - ADJOURNMENT "Daniel V. Godard House" "Harold M. Wilson House" "Col. J.R. Musgrave House" or "Musgrave House" Chairman Bittner adjourned the meeting at 9:1 en Bittner, Chairman
