2. FENCE IN FRONT YARD DISCUSSION
HEGEDUS
940 N. E. 9Sth. ST.
The problem or issue did not seem to be replacing the ranch: type wood fence
in the front of the house, so much as the type of fence to use. Members
concurred the fence needs to Be replaced; but with the proper type in keeping
with tree Beauty and style of the house.
Mx. Hegedus indicated that since he bought the house, a jungle had been
cleaned. -up, andnow you can see the house. He further, noted, he.has two
aluminum gates across the new driveway, and chose the white picket fence
because tat iawhatthe house on the corner has, and because a fence is
needed in the front of the house to protect -his two and four year old
chi'ldren., Masonry or ornamental iron seem to him out of order. He also
showed Viers photograph:of his home and stated'his ideas are not written
in stone.• Mr. Hegedus' is open to suggestions, and can compromise. He would
welcome ideas from Ivan Rodriguez, and doesn'` t mizid . speaking with him con-
cerning the issue.
Mr. Gaggstatter and Members concurred they would like a few days to produce
better ideas than the white picket fence. Mrs.Gourtney noted the white
picket fence does not blend, and Ms. Kern indicated it would be difficult
to find something with complete security across the front.
Other suggestions and ideas will be explored.
