02-04-1993 Regular Meeting• • CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD REGULAR MEETING February 4, 1993 A regular meeting of the Miami Shores Village Code Enforcement Board was held on Thursday, February 4, 1993 at 7;40 P.M. at the Miami Shores Village Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mr, Barry Asmus, Chairman, with the following members present; Barry K, Asmus, Chairman Thomas J, Caldwell Margaret Burch Prospero G,.Herrera FI Daniel B, Owens John L, P.atnik, Jr, John L, Stokesberry Also present: RichardTrumble, CodeEnforcementlnapector Jorge Garcia, Code Enforcement Inspector Frank LuBien, Director Of Code Enforcement 1. MINUTES JANUARY 7, 1993 The minutes of the meeting of January 7, 1992 were approved as written, by a motion made by Mrs, Burch, seconded by Mr, Stokesberry, and passed by unanimous vote, Mr. LuBien & Mr, Trumble were sworn in for their testimony of the evening. 2. HEARING, , CASE NO, 002952 UNAUTHORIZED CONSTRUCTION/ALTERATIONS 10.904:.N T' 2nd AVENUE, OWNER; JEAN RENEL 1'HxLIZAIRE The case was introduced by Mrs LuBien and presented by Mr, Trumble, Mr. Trumble stated that no permit had been applied for on this case and further there is no top rail on the fence, Mr, Owens moved for Finding of Fact and Conclusion of Law a violation does exist to Sec 6,..4 of Miatnt Shores:.Village Code of Ordinance, Ordered that if not corrected in 30 days a $25,Q0.per day:fine will become effective. The motion was seconded by Mr, Stokesberry and, passed unanimously, 3, HEARING, CASE NO, 002969 UNSIGHTLY FASCIA, SOFFIT, HOUSE EXTERIOR 144 NE 91st STREET, OWNER; JEAN PELLIGRINO Mr, LuBien introduced the case, Mr. Trumble stated, Mrs, Pelligrino was originally cited. by Robert` Rodriguez: She is very elderly and attempting to do the painting herself. She was in today and said she'd be here this evening, She now has the house painting complete except for the porch, Mr. Caldwell moved to dismiss the case, seconded by Mr, Stokesberry, and passed unanimously, 4. HEARING, CASE NO, 002981. ITNAUTH(i1q:IZED CONSTRUCTION/A,LTERATIONS 10217 NORTH MIAMI AVENUE, OWNER: JOLT W, HALSEY The case was introduced by.Mr,LuBien, Mr, Trumble.stated that John Halsey did obtain a permit yesterday for the wood fence, Also he had grantedMr, Halsey an extension of time. • • CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD -2- Feb 4, 1993 Mr. Stokesberry made a motion to dismiss the case, seconded by Mrs. Burch, the motion passed unanimously, 4. HEARING, CASE NO 002987 UNSIGHTLY FASCIA, SOFFIT, HOUSE EXTERIOR 190 NW 103rd STREET, OWNER: ANNE SMITH ESTATE/M, BROWN The case was introduced by Mr, LuBien, Mr, Trumble said he had no contact with the owner and nothing has been done, Mrs Burch moved for Finding of Fact and Conclusion of Law this is a vio- lation of Sec 12-133, ordered that if the violation is not corrected in 30 days a 425.00 per day fine will become effective. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion witich passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8 P.M..
