MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
The Miami Shores Village Council held a Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 beginning at 7:43
PM which was immediately following the Council Budget Workshop. The meeting was held in the Conference Room
of Village Hall with the following Council Members and Staff in attendance:

CONSIDERATIONS
1) VILLAGE CLERK Barbara A. Estep
A) A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL, SETTING
TENTATIVE OPERATING AND DEBT SERVICE AD VALOREM MILLAGE
LEVIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007/2008 BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2007 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2008; SETTING THE TIME, DATE AND PLACE
FOR THE TWO PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008
OPERATING BUDGETS AND PROPOSED AD VALOREM MILLAGE LEVIES.
Ms. Estep read the caption of the Resolution into the record. Contained within the body of the Resolution, a tentative
operating millage rate, which represents the roll -back rate was set at 7.1400 and the debt service millage rate was
tentatively set at 0.6764. Mr. Loffredo moved to adopt the Resolution as presented to the Council. Mr. Herrera
seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous in favor of the motion.
2) ADJOURNMENT
The July 25, 2007 Special Meeting of the Village Council was adjourned at 7:48 PM.
