BUDGET WORKSHOP - COUNTRY CLUB
MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL
August 1, 1983, 7:30 p.m.

Herbert Spahn, Jr.
R. Terry Cuson
Absent: Robert J. Lodge
Also present: Mr. Robinette, Club Manager and members of the
Country Club Advisory Board
Mr. Forney generally discussed the Club budget as presented and
recommended that it be accepted with the dues structure or with
modifications to the dues structure, to insure maintenance and services
that are expected.
Mr. Spahn stated that he felt the members want a middle ground, not a La
Gorce Country Club.but not public. He suggested running a parallel pro-
gram to determine the results of a pay -as -you go plan; that he doesn't
want to give up what we have now but thought the current dues structure
was inadequate.
Details to be furnished later on salary contingency.
Items discussed: Unemployment compensation should be verified.
Add in secretary, get figures on membership package.
Get figures on new lounge & entrance.
Look into overtime in food budget.
Check current laundry bill.
Get entertainment figures.
Get figures on cart boys and pro shop operation.
Get figures on pro's salary.
Individual review of expenses was completed up to Bar Operations.
