PROPOSAL ON NON-RESIDENT INTERMEDIATE GOLF MEMBERSHIP.
In a report to Council Mr. Forney presented a recommendation of
the Club Advisory Board for the creation of a non-resident
Intermediate golf membership at $500.00 per year, in conjunction
with a reduction of the resident Intermediate golf membership
from $560.00 to $350.00 per year.
Mr. Swan, Chairman of the Board, reviewed the work by the Board
and their recommendations.
Mr. Spahn stated that he did not want to go along with the non-
resident Intermediate at this time, in mid year; that he wanted
to see the summer membership reinstituted with the cart re-
quirement.
Mr. McIntosh commended Mr. Swam and his committee on their work.
His comments were that there are too many membership categories
now, and that the value of this new type will have little effect on
the financial situation at the Club.
After further discussion the Council agreed, at Mr. McIntosh's
suggestion, to wait for the Village Manager's financial report
at the end of four months before further action. This will be
placed on the agenda of the second meeting in February.
