Miami Shores Village Council
December 10, 1981
A workshop meeting of the Miami Shores Village Council was called for
Thursday, December 10, 1981, 4:00 p.m., for the purpose of reviewing
some new plans on the reconstruction of Village Hall. The following
members of Council were present:
Mayor Robert J. Lodge
Donald W. McIntosh
Elspeth Jensen
Absent: Herbert Spahn
Henry A. Everett
Also in attendance:
0. Sam Ackley, Village Manager
Chief John A. Fletcher
Lou Shulick, with Carr Smith, architects

The new plan presented indicated reconstruction of the police end of the
building to the east extending it to the street as needed. This plan
also provided the detectives' office on the first floor.
The architect estimated the cost for this plan to be around $239,500.00.
It was also suggested that the plan consider having the Police Department
go out on the south side of the building and leave the Council room in
tact. New sketches will be drawn.
The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
