08-10-1976 Budget Workshop Meeting 8/10/76 COUNCIL BUDGET WORK SHOP Tuesday, August 10, 1976 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers In attendance: Mayor McIntosh, Councilmen Claussen, Condit, Davis and McLeod Mr. William F. Faun, Village Attorney Mr. Earl Andersen, Village Manager Mr. James Glaid, Finance Director Col. Lyle Hershey, General Chairman, C. C. Assoc. Mr. Harold Webber Mr. Torn Brugger Mayor McIntosh stated that the purpose of this meeting was to discuss the Country Club budget which had just been received by the Council. Mr. Andersen reviewed the budgeted expenses for each department with the Council and some of the suggested changes were: 1. Increase the contingency account from four to ten thousand. 2. Add an item of $5, 000 for interest on a loan. 3. Add $5, 000 for a new drain field. 4. Ascertain the exact number of electric carts needed. 5. Add $5, 000 for a rotary mower. It was agreed to transfer the operation of the swimming pool to the Recreation Department. For additional revenue it was suggested that: 1. Green fees be raised $3. 00 in summer and $2. 00 in winter. 2. Electric cart fees be raised $2. 00 for 18 holes. 3. $1. 00 charged when electric cart is not used. 4. Increase annual golf fees by amount of money needed to make annual payment on sprinkler system. 5. Increase all annual fees by amount needed to make annual payment on kitchen remodeling. The next meeting on this budget was called for Monday, August 16, at 7:30 p.m. Village Clerk
