SPECIAL COUNCIL WORK SESSION
MIAMI SHORES COUNTRY CLUB - February 26, 1974
A special Council work session was called for February 26, 1974,
7:30 p. m. at the Country Club.

Also present: John McIntyre, Village Manager, Dr. LaVerne Burns,
General Chairman, Country Club Association
The Mayor opened the meeting by asking Dr. Burns to discuss the
part the Country Club committees play in the operation of the Club.
George Perrine presented a letter to the Council on Country Club
policies.
The Village Manager and the Country Club Manager briefed the
Council on the operation of the bar and dining room with new type statements
that can be compared with other country clubs, copies of the two new state-
ments are made a part of the minutes.
The Mayor asked the Council members present how much net profit
they would like to see at the end of the fiscal year. The concensus was to
show a surplus of ten to fifteen thousand dollars at the end of the year.
After a discussion on food costs it was decided not to raise menu
prices at this time but that the Club Manager was to write a report suggesting
possible increases in prices of food and liquor.
On adjournment the Mayor thanked the members of the Country
