Mr. Fred Kalil on behalf of some of his associates, was present to voice a protest against the new setup at the Country Club whereby Villagers are required to pay an annual fee of $10. 00 to use any of the facilities at the Club. He stated that it would not be objectionable if the fee were only 500 or $1. 00 to cover the cost of the issuance of the cards but he continued this is just the beginning and in the future this fee could be changed and increased. The Mayor explained the reasons for closing the Club to the general public, that this fee was to help offset the loss of daily green fees and that the active members of the Club had proposed it and were confident that it would make the Club facilities more desirable.
