Council to offer assitance in the expense of replacing the light, in the amount
of $650. 00, to be done as soon as possible. He further stated that this money
was donated by friends of El Portal and that if at some future time the light had
to be taken down, it would belong to E1 Portal. In discussing traffic conditions,
Mr. Reynolds asked Mayor Nimmo if the left turn lane on N. E. 2-nd Ave. could
be removed so that the bottle-neck caused there would be eliminated. Mayor

out. He also stated that they hope by December, N. E. 2nd Ave. will be widened
across the bridge and through to the Miami Shores limits. Mayor Claussen
stated that we cannot do anything until the report from the State Road Dept. is
in which will be within the next few days. He also mentioned that it will cost
