Upon motion made by Mr. Franco, seconded by Mr. Carpenter
and passed, minutes of the last regular meeting were approved as read.
Mrs. Hughes of 25 N. W. 104th Street, again appeared before the
Council, first to express appreciation for the action taken in regard to the
complaint concerning the bedroom door at the home of Mrs. Van Eandt and
secondly, to determine if this owner would be forced to close the door upon
her return to the city. The Mayor assured Mrs. Hughes that because this
door was built without a permit, it would have to be converted back to a
window.
A proposed ordinance was read concerning the boat speed on
Biscayne Canal and upon motion made by Mr. Carpenter, seconded by Mr.
Fri.x, ORDINANCE NO. 219 was unanimously passed and adopted, said

Village, as well as, any other Councilman who could attend.
A questionnaire was received and discussed from the Mayor of
North Miami concerning their preliminary plans for the construction of
an incinerator. It was decided that this letter should be answered but that
the Village could not commit itself to the participation of the incinerator
plans at this time.
A resolution was read concerning price control which was pro-

Florida. The resolution was tabled.
