A Regular Meeting of Miami Shores Village Council was held
Tanuary 20. 1948 at 7:30 P.M. All members of the Council were present
except We, Howard I. Parish. Mr. Thomas-He Anderson, village attoerneyq
was also absent.
On motion by Mr. Reynolds, seconded by Mr. Friag and unani-
mously carried. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 69 1948 and
of the Special Meeting of Tanuary 13. 1948 were approved as written.
Miss Ruby Leppan appeared before the Council regarding the
dedication of the 25' Street through Lot 18. Asbury Park Subdivisiong
which had been approved by the Planning Board on January 6. 1948• Mr*
Fria moved that the tentative drawing dedicating the north 25' or south
251 of Lot 18 of Asbury Park Subdivision be approved subject to the final
Plat being properly prepared by an engineer for the Public Records, and
subject to the owners paving the full width of 25 feet with an approved
rock base of not less than 10" of compacted rock, the surface to be finished
with a prime sealer of not less than 2" of plant mix sheet asphalt• Motion
was seconded by Mr. Reynolds and unanimously carried.
On motion made by Mr. McCaffrey and seconded by We Frix. Ordinance
No• 181 was unanimously adopted. said Ordinance being *AN ORDINANCE OF
MIAMI WDRES VELZAGE. FLORIDA. REGARDING RHE BUSIWMS OF RWTING AYJTCMOBILFS

used for marking pedestrian lanes at Street intersections, and approved
the securing of a aample lane in the business section.
On motion made by Mr. McCaffrey, and seconded by Mr. Frix,
Resolution No. 283 was unanimously adopted, said Resolution concerning
Flood Control in South Florida.
On motion made by Mr. Reynolds, seconded by Mr. McCaffrey. a
Resolution was passed supporting and encouraging the program of the
Southern States Coastal Erosion Control Conference.
After examination of current unpaid bills amounting to $29102.599
Mr. Reynolds moved that these bills be paid• Motion was seconded by We
Frix and unanimously carried.
